大菩文化福建讯 2018年10月28日至30日，第五届世界佛教论坛在福建省莆田市召开。论坛主题为“交流互鉴、中道圆融”，邀请海内外佛教界人士、学者等约800余位代表出席。朝鲜佛教联盟中央委员会Ji Song主席出席大会并发言。以下为讲话全文：
尊敬的中国佛教协会各位理事以及与会的各位代表，扎西德勒 ! 大家好!
Distinguished directors of The Buddhism Association of China and all representatives,
Za Xi De Le! Hello everyone!
首先感谢大会给我在此发表心声的机会。
For one thing, I really appreciate this opportunity to give a speech here.
在第五届世界佛教论坛胜利召开之际，向各位致以最诚挚的问候。我欣慰地看到，过去成功举办的四届佛教论坛，为促进世界和平，增进各个参会国家之间的友谊、特别是佛教国家之间的友好交流，做出了很大的贡献。凝聚了各国佛教徒之间的感情，加深了相互之间的了解，各国佛教徒亲如一家，历届盛会取得了有目共睹的成果。
Upon the successful convening of the 5th World Buddhist Forum, I'd like to extend my sincerest greetings to everyone. To my comfort, the success of the 4th World Buddhist Forum had made great contributions to more world peace, to better friendship between the participating countries and especially to the more friendly exchanges among Buddhist countries. This forum has enhanced the attachment between Buddhists of different countries, and deepened their mutual understanding so that the Buddhists are of a great family. The achievements made in the previous forums are commonly seen.
本人有幸再次参加本届盛会，内心充满感激与崇敬之情。内心激动，有许多感言想要表达，借这次机会，向各位诉说一下我自己的感想：
Because I am fortunate enough to attend this event, I feel grateful and respectful. I am so excited that I want to convey what I have thought much. Now I take this opportunity to talk about my thought.
当我第一次参加佛教大会时，有机会拜会到仰慕已久的来自东西方的各位高僧大德；有持律精严，心怀宏愿，深具闻思修三慧的各大寺院的主持堪布，有博学慎思，经纶如海的大学者。这些都是肩负弘扬佛法大业的圣者大士，如群星聚集天空，能当面聆听佛法教诲，拜见真容，每次回想起来，都让我喜不自禁，感动得汗毛站竖，热泪盈眶。
I remember when I attended the forum for the first time, I had the chance of showing my respect for the eminent monks from the Western and Eastern worlds. I also saw the disciplined, broad-minded and insightful Khenpo and abbots of major monasteries, as well as the great scholars with a sea of knowledge. In my mind, they are the sages to shoulder the cause of Buddhism promotion, like the clustered stars in the sky. I had listened to their teaching and seen their real looks. Each time I look back on this, I will feel rejoiced, so rejoiced that I will have my hair stand at its end and shed tears of excitement.
我们一见如故，在会议期间踊跃发表各自的观点，热烈地讨论佛教的过往继承与未来发展的思路和方向，这些探讨都尽量做到理论与实践相结合，对于各个教派的发展壮大，有相当的指导作用，助益匪浅，决非虚言。
At the first sight, we thought of each other as long-established friends. During the forum, we passionately expressed our opinions and discussed the path and direction of Buddhism in its past and future. In the discussions, we tried to make theory and practice become one. This has an instructive effect on the growth and expansion of different Buddhist sects. The benefits the forum brings are real and cogent.
有鉴于此，我相信本届大会对增进民族大团结，促进各国和平，一定会做出更大的贡献。
Therefore, I believe this forum will promote the cohesion between different ethnic groups of China and the peaceful coexistence between world countries, making greater contribution.
当然，我们要谨记：本届盛会的胜利召开，离不开中国共产党和习近平主席为核心的中央政府及各级地方政府的亲切关怀与英明领导。
Of course, we should keep in mind that the successful convening of this forum is inseparable from the cordial care and wise leadership of the CCP the Central Government and local governments with President Xi Jinping at core.
在此，我谨代表北美藏族同乡会全体爱国敬佛的兄弟姐妹，向中国共产党、习近平主席以及中国佛教大会的筹办人员们，表示衷心的感谢，以及诚挚的问候，再次预祝本届盛会圆满成功！并诚挚期待这样的盛会，还能继续举办下去！谢谢您们。
Now on behalf of North America Association of Tibetan Fellow Provincials, I'd like to extend my deep gratitude and sincere greetings to the CCP, President Xi Jinping and the organizers of this forum. Again I wish this forum a complete success! I hope events like this will continue forever! Thanks.

At last, please allow me to present a little poem of mine to express what I feel at this moment.
近平主席有远见，带领国家大发展，
中华富强立于世，佛教之邦盛景现。
With the vision of President Xi, our country makes great strides;
As China thrives, it becomes a country of blessing Buddhists;
